Prior to setting up Kells Consulting, Jim held senior HR management and leadership roles in major companies across Pharmaceutical, Electronic and Oil and Gas sectors.

While working for IBEC as a senior IR/ HR Executive in the Cork Region, Jim had exposure to all business sectors where he supported and represented employers in all aspects of HR, Change Management, Negotiations with Trade Unions, and legal representation. That exposure demonstrated the need for tailor made solutions to the problems facing individual companies. 

Jim describes the Kells Consulting approach as working with clients to explore what the problem is and define the ideal solution. In this way, solutions are arrived at which are right for the business while at all times keeping integrity and strategic balanced thinking foremost in the decision-making process.
